6 years before Starting Chrysalis Surf, I was sitting in a quaint village street one day when I friend asked me where I would like to be, if I could be anywhere I wanted. The image of pearly waves pitching hollow tubes in the rising sun on a wild African beach instantly sprang to mind. "That's No Brainer", I told her. "I would be in Richards Bay, riding the waves of my life with some of the most amazing people alive. It took me a while, and lord knows it was not easy, but I made it all the way here and now I want to share the gift of surfing with others on the beautiful beach that is Alkantstrand, Richards Bay.
